At GoEpps, every website project is a chance to tell a powerful story, and the recent launch of LogosHorizon.com was no exception. Logos Horizon came to us with a big need and a clear mission. They were in the middle of updating their brand identity, redefining their service offerings, and looking for a web presence that could grow with their organization, all while staying within a reasonable budget.
Our job was to help them move forward confidently. That meant providing not just a new website, but a new foundation for their digital presence: one that could clearly communicate who they are, what they do, and why it matters.

Understanding the Mission
Logos Horizon is a robust, multi-service mental health treatment organization doing important work in Arlington and Southlake, Texas. Their work touches people in vulnerable places, those in need of mental health services, developmental support, and a range of care and case management offerings. The work they do matters, and it was clear from the beginning that their website needed to reflect that.
But like many growing organizations, their existing site had started to fall behind. It no longer accurately represented their services or scale, and it wasn’t supporting their efforts to serve clients and attract talent. At the same time, they were evolving their brand and language. So, before we could even think about layout and design, we needed to get crystal clear on the structure, the services, and the messaging.

Getting Clear on Services and Structure
One of the first things we do with any client is dig into the content architecture. For Logos Horizon, that meant asking detailed questions:
What services do you offer today?
What services are growing?
Who needs to find those services on the website?
What questions are they asking when they land on the site?
We then developed a full content architecture plan that mapped out the entire site: pages, subpages, and content priorities. With a clearer picture of what the organization offered and who the audience is, we could start building a site that not only looked better, but worked better.
Choosing the Right Design and Development Approach
At GoEpps, we usually design websites from scratch. But part of staying on budget is knowing when to flex. After evaluating the goals and timeline, we explored theme-based options that could give us a great starting point without sacrificing functionality or branding.
We found a WordPress theme that struck the right balance between design quality and flexibility. It gave us a strong framework to work with, and we could layer on customization where it mattered most. A good theme doesn’t mean cookie-cutter. It means knowing how to use what works and customize what’s needed.
Making It Feel Like Logos Horizon
Once the theme was selected, the next step was gathering visuals and content that reflected the Logos culture of care. We worked closely with the Logos Horizon team to curate a library of images that reflected their values and the communities they serve; people-focused, warm, professional, and real. This ensured the final result didn’t just feel like a modified template, but like a custom-built experience that truly represented their brand.
On the content side, we planned and created new copy for the updated services while migrating key materials from the previous site. Our content process is always about striking a balance between clarity and care, making sure people can get the information they need quickly while feeling welcomed and supported.
Site Speed and Technical Cleanup
A beautiful website isn’t useful if it loads slowly or has technical issues. So after content and design, we turned to performance.
We reviewed all installed plugins and removed any that were unused or slowing down the site. We compressed images, streamlined the codebase, and conducted speed tests to ensure the final product would deliver a fast and smooth user experience. Accessibility and mobile-friendliness were part of the process too, ensuring the site could serve all visitors across all devices.
A Collaborative Client Relationship
Working with Logos Horizon was a rewarding experience. Their team brought energy, clarity, and a deep understanding of their mission to every meeting. They understood the importance of the digital experience and were committed to getting it right.
This level of collaboration made it possible for us to deliver a website that works not just as a digital brochure, but as a platform for future growth. They now have a site they can grow into, with room for expanding services, evolving content, and increasing impact.
The GoEpps Approach: Speed, Accuracy, Communication
Every website project we take on at GoEpps reflects our core values: speed, accuracy, and communication.
Speed means we respect our clients’ timelines and budgets. Whether it’s designing from scratch or adapting a great theme, we move quickly and efficiently.
Accuracy means we listen closely and deliver what we promise. We get the details right, from the messaging to the tech stack.
Communication means we keep our clients informed, involved, and empowered. Clear updates, collaborative decisions, and no surprises.
We’ve worked with organizations across North America, from healthcare providers to nonprofits to B2B companies, and we bring the same level of care and commitment to every project.
Why We Do This Work
As our founder, Michael Epps Utley, puts it:
“Helping great organizations grow their impact is why we got into this business. When a client like Logos Horizon trusts us to support their mission, it’s not just a website, it’s a partnership that matters.”
That’s what this work is all about. Creating digital experiences that support real people doing meaningful work.
